There’s no denying the last few months have been hard, frightening and uncertain for everyone. Panic set in at the outset of the outbreak with our clients, some of whom decided to pause our services in favour of retaining their in-house staff. We understood. We then made full use of Rishi’s furlough scheme, without which we would have had to make some terrible decisions ourselves. Despite our MD enjoying becoming a home-schooling expert at Year 5 maths, we are now delighted to all be back in the saddle!
In early July, we came back! We helped our clients The Yorke Arms relaunch their ‘new normal’ as an exclusive Country House for hire, securing them coverage in local and national press. We reimagined the website for our clients IFG (International Fibres Group) who have been operating throughout the COVID crisis providing numerous tonnes of fibres to go into worldwide production of PPE. We look forward to helping them showcase some of their research and development projects across various (rescheduled) European exhibitions in 2021.
Samuel Grant Packaging have continued to operate on a limited basis throughout the pandemic, having to reduce staff numbers in their warehouses to comply with social distancing, but continuing to serve their clients, many of whom operate in the key sectors of food and pharmaceuticals. We are in the process of helping them to launch a new product which will further cement their reputation at the forefront of pallet and logistics safety. Watch this space!
We have branded, and are in the process of building a new website for The Staveley Arms. A brave move indeed by the award-winning chef brigade formerly of The Bruce Arms in West Tanfield to launch a new pub/dining venture in these times, but we are right behind them and continue to support them towards their launch on the 14th August.
Ripon-based Appleton’s butchers, famed for their pork pies which are a favourite of Prince Charles, enlisted the help of Golden Frog to help launch their Knaresborough branch, which opens on the 18th August. Significant local press has been secured for them so far, as well as a large increase in their social media following. It’s good to see investment in the high street, and we hope that the community will continue to shop locally and support their new venture.
Our clients at Bowcliffe Hall have re-opened their Drivers’ Club, having provided numerous meals for NHS workers throughout the pandemic. They are welcoming their members back with the ‘Dine out to help out’ scheme, another move to help our hospitality industry in these uncertain times by the chancellor. We continue to help promote their activities through their website and social media.
Stretch and Style launched their website at www.stretchandstyle.com – we created the brand image for this interesting proposition, and look forward to see their profile raising as we start their social media content production this month.
Our gorgeous first ever client Kate Fearnley, the award-winning bridal designer, enlisted our help to create her a new website design – coming soon to a boutique near you as she launches her first ever wholesale bridal collection.
Sam Jones, formerly Marketing Assistant, has been promoted to Marketing Executive and we look forward to him growing into the role. Kirsty Munro returned to the Frog fold from maternity leave, and has hit the ground running with all the new and exciting projects we’ve had on board.
What a month! Here’s the sad bit, we unfortunately said goodbye at the end of July to Meg Jameson-Allen. Meg has been with us for over two years, having joined straight after her Apprenticeship and progressed through the company to Digital Marketing Executive. We wish her all the best with her future career and will miss her hugely.
