Account Manager

Due to growth, Golden Frog PR is looking for an ambitious Account Manager to join our existing team, based from our offices in central Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Reporting to the Managing Director, our new Account Manager will:

Build, maintain and manage relationships with a variety of clients.

Hold regular client update meetings, both face to face and on the phone

Be the first point of contact for client queries and requests

Liaise with other members of the team to deliver client requirements

Identify new client relationships and make pitches to potential new clients

Give presentations about our services

Manage target-driven budgets, largely for PPC, Advertising and Social Media spends

Generate accurate reports on the status of existing accounts and new business, incorporating Google analytics, PPC Campaigns, Social Media reports and coverage reports.

Key skills

Our ideal candidate will be a confident people person, able to multi-task and work under pressure, sometimes to tight deadlines and with demanding clients.

They should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be happy to deal with all levels of client, from warehouse operatives to CEOs.

They must have strong sales and negotiation skills, and be able to spot opportunities both for Golden Frog and our clients.

They need to be happy to be accountable for their work, an element of resilience is needed.

They must be happy to work alone or in a team, and be confident to brief colleagues to deliver client briefs.

A good head for figures and presenting reports would also be an advantage.


A degree in a related Marketing / PR / Communications focused role would be a definite advantage

Relevant experience

Experience of working in a customer-facing role, meeting deadlines and managing a budget will be helpful.


£20,000-£25,000 dependent on experience
