We often get asked the same questions by potential clients. We thought it may be useful to go over some of these here on the blog, to not only give you the answer to the questions but to also give you some useful questions to ask other agencies or suppliers you may be thinking of using. Do I really need a website?
9/10 the answer to this is yes. Regardless of what you do, what your company does or what services or products you offer, you probably should have a website.
It doesn’t have to be all singing and dancing, cost the earth or be overly complex, but it certainly needs to contain information that people will be looking for on the web.
Contact information including operating/opening hours, information on the services/products you offer, and any other relevant information about your business should be included. If you actively use social media, don’t forget to link to them.
These types of websites are often called ‘brochure sites’, as they are the equivalent of an online brochure. Normally, these websites are under 10 pages, are easy to update and don’t require a lot of technical knowledge or maintenance. Don’t forget that websites do need to be kept up-to-date (this does make a difference in search engine results!).
Does PPC (pay per click) actually work?
It does if the campaigns are being managed well!
Results massively depend on what you’re advertising of course. Some sectors are notoriously expensive to bid on (financial services for example), and therefore may be out of your budget, but that’s not to say that it can’t still be effective in producing leads and driving traffic to your website.
